English: Stamp of the British colony of Hong Kong, of the Victory issue, issued 1946 in a series of 2 with a blue and red 30 cents. The message on left means : "China and Britain perpetually at peace", and the one on right : "The Phoenix revives in prosperity" (by Miss E. K. Baker of the Colonial Office, in a letter to Sir Alan Lascelles, Private Secretary to King George VI, quoted in Nicholas Courtney, The Queen's Stamps, 2003, ISBN 0413772284, page 263.
Français : Timbre de la colonie britannique de Hong Kong, commémorant la victoire contre le Japon à l'issue de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, émis en 1946 dans une série de deux avec un 30 cents bleu et rouge. Le message à gauche signifie : "La Chine et la Grande-Bretagne perpétuellement en paix", et celui de droite : "le phoenix revit dans la prospérité" (d'après Miss E. K.
